Tennis & Pickleball Court Coating Removal in Hemet

Built for Hemet homes.

Hemet sits on the floor of the San Jacinto Valley, and it is one of the hotter, drier places we work. It also carries a lot of older housing stock, which means older concrete — slabs that have been in the ground for decades and have generally been coated, painted or sealed at least once before we see them.

That is work we are well set up for. Removal is a service we run in its own right, including for other contractors, so a Hemet patio with an unknown coating on it is a normal Tuesday rather than a complication.

The valley heat then decides what goes back on. Summer here is long and genuinely hot, and a dark finish on an exposed patio or pool deck is a mistake you feel for four months of the year. We steer accordingly.

Hemet FAQs

Tennis & Pickleball Court Coating Removal in Hemet, questions

Is our concrete too old to be worth coating?

Age on its own is rarely the deciding factor — condition is. We have coated plenty of Hemet concrete older than the people asking about it. If a slab genuinely has failed structurally we will tell you that rather than sell you a finish that will fail along with it.

How many coats build up on a court before it has to come off?

More than most owners realize. Courts get recoated every few years, and each cycle adds thickness. Eventually the build-up cracks, blisters and holds water, and another color coat on top just repeats the problem on a thicker base. At that point it has to come back to the slab, and that is the work we do.

Do you resurface the court as well, or only strip it?

We are specialists in the removal. Plenty of court resurfacing contractors bring us in to strip a court back and then lay their own system over what we leave. If you are an owner rather than a contractor we are happy to talk you through what the court needs and who is well placed to surface it.
