The developments that have gone up either side of Newport Road since incorporation in 2008 bring concrete barely out of its first decade. The two need entirely different conversations.
In the older Sun City streets the concrete has been in the ground a long time and has usually been coated at least once already. Frequently what is needed there is removal before anything else — taking off a failing sealer or paint that somebody rolled on years ago, and getting back to sound concrete underneath.

We would rather take it off. Coating over a failing coating buys the same failure with a new color on it. Removal is a service in its own right for us, so stripping that patio back to sound concrete is straightforward work rather than a reason to turn the job down.
Our house is new and the garage floor is bare. Is it too soon to coat it?
