Concrete Coatings in Menifee, CA
David Paul Foster Co. applies and services coatings throughout Menifee, from Sun City up through the newer developments either side of Newport Road.
Coatings built for Menifee homes.
Menifee is two cities in one as far as concrete goes. Sun City brings decades-old slabs on long-settled retirement streets. The developments that have gone up either side of Newport Road since incorporation in 2008 bring concrete barely out of its first decade. The two need entirely different conversations.
In the older Sun City streets the concrete has been in the ground a long time and has usually been coated at least once already. Frequently what is needed there is removal before anything else — taking off a failing sealer or paint that somebody rolled on years ago, and getting back to sound concrete underneath.
In the newer parts of Menifee the slabs are young and sound and the work is about finish rather than repair: garage floors, patios and pool decks that were left bare when the house was built and are now being finished properly.
What we run into in Menifee
Across both, this is a hot inland part of the county with very little shade on new streets. Cool-deck finishes and lighter colors earn their keep here, particularly on pool surrounds.

Concrete Coatings in Menifee, questions
There is old paint on our Sun City patio. Can you go over it?
We would rather take it off. Coating over a failing coating buys the same failure with a new color on it. Removal is a service in its own right for us, so stripping that patio back to sound concrete is straightforward work rather than a reason to turn the job down.
Our house is new and the garage floor is bare. Is it too soon to coat it?
New concrete needs to cure before it takes a coating, and how long depends on the pour and the season. A bare garage floor in a recently finished Menifee house is often ready sooner than owners expect. We will tell you at the estimate whether yours is.
Do you cover Sun City and Quail Valley as well as the newer tracts?
All of Menifee. Sun City, Quail Valley, Romoland and the newer developments off Newport Road are all a short run from our yard in Wildomar.
