Simple process

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Book a free on-site estimate

Call or book online. Dave runs estimates Tuesday through Thursday and comes out to look at the concrete himself.

  2. Step 2

    We tell you straight

Concrete can almost always be restored. If yours is too far gone to save, we will tell you that instead of selling you a coating that will fail.

  3. Step 3

    Prep is the job

Fifty years and millions of square feet have taught us that coatings bond because the concrete was prepared right. That is where the work goes.

  4. Step 4

    Our own crew, guaranteed

Nothing is subcontracted. Our crews do the prep and the install, and the work is backed by five years on material and one year on labor.

FAQs

Common questions

Do I have to replace my concrete, or can it be saved?

Almost always it can be saved. Most of the concrete people call us about intending to replace does not need replacing — the slab is sound and the surface has aged. Resurfacing keeps the concrete, the footings and the drainage that already work and skips the demolition entirely, at a fraction of the cost. When a slab genuinely has failed we will tell you so rather than sell you a finish that fails with it.

Why do concrete coatings peel, and how do you prevent it?

Nearly every failed coating we strip failed because the concrete was never opened up before it was coated. If the slab is sealed, dusty, oily or holding moisture, a coating has nothing to grip and lets go in sheets a year or two later. We grind every floor mechanically with diamond tooling before any product goes down. That step is most of the cost and all of the reason it lasts.

Can you go over the coating that is already on my concrete?

Usually we will not, and that is deliberate. Coating over a failing coating buys you the same failure in a new color. Removal is a service in its own right for us — we do it for other contractors as well as on our own jobs — so taking the old system off is straightforward work rather than a reason to walk away from the job.

How much does a concrete coating cost?

It depends on the area, the condition of the slab and how much old material has to come off first, which is why we do not publish a square-foot price that would be wrong for most jobs. The estimate is free and on site, and Dave gives you a real number for your concrete rather than a range you have to guess inside.

How long have you been doing this?

Since 1976 — fifty years in the same trade. We started on tennis courts and still strip them today, alongside pool decks, garage floors, driveways, patios, warehouse and industrial floors. Several of our crew have been with the company over thirty years.

Which areas do you cover?

We work from our yard in Wildomar across Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties — 31 cities from the high desert down to the coast. Estimates are free and on site anywhere in that area.

Do you subcontract any of the work?

No. Our own crews do the removal, the preparation and the finish. The people who grind your slab are the people who coat it, and that is the only way we have found to keep the standard consistent from the first pass to the last.

What warranty do you give?

Five years on material and one year on labor, on every job. We are licensed in California under number 641729.
