We have a historic home. Will a concrete finish look out of place?
It can, and we would rather steer you than sell you the wrong thing. On period Redlands properties a penetrating stain in a color suited to the house almost always beats a modern coating. The concrete should read as part of the house, not as a recent addition to it.
Our century-old walkway is cracked throughout. Can it be saved?
Usually yes. Cracking is normal on concrete of that age and is rarely structural failure. We chase the cracks out, clean and fill them, and finish over the top. Replacing historic flatwork is both expensive and often a genuine loss.
Do you do steps and porches as well as flatwork?
