Why David Paul Foster Co. in Fontana

Pool Deck & Patio Coatings in Fontana, done right.

Textured, cool-to-the-touch coatings for pool decks, patios and splash pads, laid over the concrete you already have. We work Fontana from the older streets near the Sierra Avenue corridor out to the newer north side tracts, with our own crew on every job — no subcontractors, no surprise charges, and one number to call from the first estimate to the finished concrete coating.

We apply pool deck & patio coatings across Fontana and the surrounding area, including Rialto, Jurupa Valley, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside.

  • Laid over the deck you already have — no tear-out
  • Slip resistance and comfort underfoot treated as the specification, not an extra
  • Pool surrounds, patios, splash pads and spa decks
  • Colors that hold up under inland California UV
  • Five years on material, one year on labor
Pool Deck & Patio Coatings in Fontana

Built for Fontana homes.

Fontana runs from long-settled neighborhoods with genuine industrial heritage up to newer developments on the north side. It is also one of the biggest warehouse and distribution centers in Southern California, which means a large share of our Fontana work is on floors measured in acres rather than square feet.

We specify to the actual traffic rather than quoting one system across a whole building. Aisles, dock areas and open storage genuinely do live different lives, and building for that is cheaper over ten years than building uniformly and replacing early.

On the residential side Fontana is hot and largely unshaded, particularly on the newer north side tracts, so exterior work follows the same UV logic as the rest of the inland valley: stains and textured coatings outside, epoxy in the garage.

Fontana FAQs

Pool Deck & Patio Coatings in Fontana, questions

Do you lay the safety striping too?

Yes — aisle markings, walkway edges, bay outlines and hazard striping go in as part of the floor rather than being painted over the top afterwards, which is why they wear at the same rate as the coating around them.

Will the deck still be too hot to walk on barefoot?

That is most of the point of the system. A textured cool-deck finish in a light color reflects a great deal more heat than bare gray concrete or a dark tile, and the texture puts air between your foot and the surface. Color choice matters here more than anywhere else on the property — we will steer you away from a dark tone that photographs well and then cooks all August.

My pool deck is cracked and stained. Does it have to come out?

Very rarely. Pool decks crack, and they stain from sun, chemicals and planters. Both are surface problems in almost every case. We chase and fill the cracks, prepare the slab and lay the new finish over the top. Tearing out a pool deck means working heavy equipment around a pool, which is expensive and usually unnecessary.
