Textured, cool-to-the-touch coatings for pool decks, patios and splash pads, laid over the concrete you already have. We work San Diego from the older coastal neighborhoods inland to the canyon-edge developments, with our own crew on every job — no subcontractors, no surprise charges, and one number to call from the first estimate to the finished concrete coating.
We apply pool deck & patio coatings across San Diego and the surrounding area, including Chula Vista, El Cajon, Mira Mesa, Escondido.
What's included
- Textured, cool-to-the-touch finishes built for full sun
- Laid over the deck you already have — no tear-out
- Slip resistance and comfort underfoot treated as the specification, not an extra
- Pool surrounds, patios, splash pads and spa decks
- Colors that hold up under inland California UV
- Five years on material, one year on labor
Built for San Diego homes.
San Diego brings something none of our inland cities do: salt air. Coastal and near-coastal concrete lives with marine moisture and airborne salt, and both change what a coating has to cope with. Inland San Diego neighborhoods behave more like the valley cities we know well.
That argues for systems with genuine moisture tolerance and for taking slab moisture testing seriously before coating, particularly on older properties and anything on a canyon edge where drainage is complicated.
Further inland — Scripps Ranch, the eastern neighborhoods — the conditions ease back toward what we deal with every day, and the specification follows.

Pool Deck & Patio Coatings in San Diego, questions
How far into San Diego County do you come?
Across most of it — the city itself, the North County coastal cities, and inland out to El Cajon and Escondido. It is a longer run from Wildomar than our Riverside County work, so we schedule San Diego jobs in sensible groups.
Will the deck still be too hot to walk on barefoot?
That is most of the point of the system. A textured cool-deck finish in a light color reflects a great deal more heat than bare gray concrete or a dark tile, and the texture puts air between your foot and the surface. Color choice matters here more than anywhere else on the property — we will steer you away from a dark tone that photographs well and then cooks all August.
My pool deck is cracked and stained. Does it have to come out?
Very rarely. Pool decks crack, and they stain from sun, chemicals and planters. Both are surface problems in almost every case. We chase and fill the cracks, prepare the slab and lay the new finish over the top. Tearing out a pool deck means working heavy equipment around a pool, which is expensive and usually unnecessary.
