Industrial Floor Coatings in Upland

Built for Upland homes.

Upland sits at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains with a well-preserved older core and a lot of established, mature-landscaped residential streets. The concrete tends to be older, well cared for, and attached to houses where the owners care what the finish looks like.

Shade matters here too, in a good way. Mature trees mean a lot of Upland patios are not taking the full unshaded sun that Moreno Valley or Fontana patios take, which widens the range of finishes that will hold their color.

Upland work skews decorative and it skews careful. These are established properties with mature landscaping, and the concrete has to sit with what is already there rather than announce itself. Staining tends to beat coating for that, because color in the slab reads quieter than color on top of it.

Upland FAQs

Industrial Floor Coatings in Upland, questions

Do you work up in San Antonio Heights?

Yes. The foothill properties get colder winter nights than down in the valley, so we look a bit harder at existing cracking before recommending an overlay, but it is normal work.

Our floor takes forklifts and dropped steel. What holds up?

That depends on the specific abuse. Point impact, abrasion from steel wheels and chemical attack are three different problems and they lead to three different builds. Tell us what actually happens on that floor and we will specify for it rather than quoting a standard system and hoping.

Do you lay the safety striping as well?

Yes. Aisle markings, walkways, bay outlines and hazard striping go in as part of the floor rather than being painted on afterwards, which is why they last as long as the coating around them instead of wearing off within the year.
